I am a freelance writer and English language communications specialist. My area of expertise is the environment but I write about a wide range of topics and issues. My recent work has included web content on subjects as diverse as US healthcare reform and internet dating. I also write regularly on environmental issues, life as a woman and mother and the intracacies of living abroad, adjusting to a new culture and language.
I have an environmental science degree and a background in communications, marketing and writing. I love writing about environmental issues and science in a way that makes it easy for anyone to understand. I have a clear communication style and the ability to express technical concepts in an accessible way.
I have written about many local, national and international environmental projects and have developed marketing materials encouraging people to take action to help protect our environment. In my previous work I used my communications skills to reach a range of audiences including families, business leaders, politicians and senior government officials.
I am now a home-based writer and environmental consultant providing web content and developing marketing materials for environmental organizations and businesses. My writing work covers a variety of topics in addition to environmental issues including relationships, gardening, health and science. I balance my writing work with the demands of my two most demanding clients, my son and daughter, who keep me very busy creating stories, rhymes and songs every day.
